DESIGN SOLUTION AFTER - we redefined the area for the shrub bed forming an edge to the lawn with sleepers; the overgrown shrubs were removed and new planting was introduced and the bed was finished with weed suppressing membrane fabric and gravel for low maintenance and as a contrast to the lawn area which was returfed
